Arthur “Art” Lawrence is selected to be Grand Marshal for Greene Village Days 2010.
He and his family have lived in Greene since 1988. A retired engineer, Art has served on
the Planning Board and is currently the chairman of the Budget Committee for the town.
He has also provides computer assistance as needed.
A modest man with a firm handshake, Art encourages the work of several Greene
businesspeople, including Al Donovans’ used car business, Lindy Theriault’s car
service, Junior Farris and his enterprises, Phil Wilbur at The Hurricane Restaurant
and Paul Bussiere at the newly expanded IGA. Art thanks everyone for their
support of Greene Village Days.
